Born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, I am a 26-year-old passionate about storytelling. With a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts and a Master of Art in Public Relations and strategic communication, I have honed my skills in both the creative and communication fields.
Growing up in Addis Ababa, a city rich in culture and history, it exposed me to a vibrant artistic community that nurtured my love for theatre performance and film. This led me to pursue a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts, where I delved into the intricacies of dramatic storytelling and honed my producing and directing abilities.
Seeking to broaden my horizons and expand my understanding of the entertainment industry, I embarked on a journey to further enhance my skills. This led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Public Relations and strategic communication, which equipped me with valuable knowledge on the business side of the creative world.
Currently, I am attending a special talent training program at the esteemed MultiChoice Talent Factory East Africa Academy. This program offers me a unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals, collaborate with fellow aspiring filmmakers, and further develop my craft in a dynamic and immersive environment.
Throughout my journey, I understand the power of storytelling as a means of evoking emotions, challenging perceptions, and sparking meaningful conversations. My unwavering passion is to create interesting narratives that captivate audiences and shed light on important social issues.
