About me
Since gaining my degree I have been freelance designing. I am a dedicated designer and am inspired by everything that surrounds me. I constantly find stimulus in art and design . I love photography it persistently arouses my artistic nature. Nature has influenced my designing skills with the flora and fauna .
My designing skills are both hand and digital, from the influence, to the developing and then taking it into the digital format. The format can change depending on what is asked for to what I think is needed.
I can not only design for Wallpaper with its repeats with ease, but also fabric, cards, packaging, well anything, recently my skills have taken me to designing for socks and I Pods.
My skill shows a high grasp of special awareness in Photoshop and Illustrator with my designs and continue to use both these programs.
Whilst free-lancing I have worked for Whittard, IPod, small independent shops selling greeting card designs. I specialized in all aspects of textile design, mainly patterns which are in repeat. In the creation of my designs I may paint, sketch, photograph and line draw, also to produce not only designs, but canvasses. I initially hand render then take the images into Photoshop to organize the design. I am very competent in both Photoshop and Illustrator.
I have very good people skills which I use everyday in my full-time job.
