I would like to apply for the graphic designer position as advertised.For the last 5 yrs I worked as a senior graphic designer for a company called Lizzard, which is a surfing/freesports brand who is in competition with Quiksilver, Billabong, Animal, Oâ€(TM)Neill etc.While working directly with the marketing manager and other designers, I was responsible for the design and graphic feel of the brand which included advertising (design for print and web), point of sale design, branding ( clothing and accessories), illustration and photography. Other duties included dealing directly with print and repro houses, as well as with retailers.I have a bachelors degree in graphic design and I am fluent on Mac and PC, Adobe CS4 software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat), macromedia freehand and have a working knowledge of Dreamweaver CS4 . I also have excellent knowledge of repro and print processes. I see myself as a motivated and creative team player, who enjoys taking responsibility and the initiative to get the job done, even when the pressure is on.
