About me

I'm a recent Photography graduate with good experience of working on location and in a studio environment. I have an intermediate level of knowledge with Adobe Photoshop and Capture One, and experience working with an array of types of camera from DSLR to Large Format film. I have a great passion and love for photography, fashion and food!

My skills include:, > Studio and location based photography, including setting up and working with flash and tungsten lighting., > Use of various camera makes including Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad and Bronica., > Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Capture One., > Organisational skills; I am a very organised and thoughtful person, always aiming to have a back up plan incase of a crisis!, > Working to very tight and strict deadlines, and maintaining a high level of output. , > Great people skills; I would say I come across as very approachable and friendly, but also motivated and passionate.

Sector Experience

I have had experience working in a studio setting (using Elinchrom and Bowens lighting and working with Apple Mac computers) for the last 3 years as part of my time at University. The majority of this work was with models, so I have a good understanding of how to work with people being photographed and how to ensure I get te best image possible., I volunteered as a Lifestyle Editor while at University; this gave me experience of working to strict deadlines. I specialised in Fashion and Food at Flex Newspaper, and I often wrote my own articles on these subjects that were printed within the section. , Assisting and organising a photoshoot from Frank Herholdt in April/May 2011 gave me a great deal of experience in setting up shoots. My role in the lead up to the shoot was to organise the 30+ models we used, from arranging castings to sorting the appropriate paperwork and generally being someone the models could approach with questions and problems.
