About me
A traditional grounding in 20th century art has left something of a split personality disorder in my artistic styles, enjoying both retro design motifs from British and American popular culture, whilst cocking a knowing eyebrow to the art deco movement and cool, crisp minimalism of the post-war era. From cartoons and illustrations to original commissions - both on the canvas and on the computer screen. My design-work is accessible, original and adaptable.
Comfortable in a selection of mediums, including oils, acrylic, pencil, pen, mixed media - in addition to professional experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (all CS3). Portfolio includes extensive performing-arts based advertising design work for independent theatre companies and venues in Brighton.
