About me

I have worked in the digital media industry since May 2008. Previous to that I worked within a greeting card design studio for nearly 2 years.

I initially started out as the Finance Manager at Airlock Ltd, over seeing the management accounts, budgets, invoicing and accounts payable as well as the general running of the studio.

After the acquisition of Airlock by Publicis Groupe I still was the main finance contact for the group, but slowly began dealing with the studio management, making sure projects were budgeted and came went out on time meeting client expectations.

This was a unique position to be in as having full visibility of the finances gave insight into project timings for smooth deferral and accrual of revenue.

Because of the acquisition it was made clear that once fully merged my role would go back to purely finance, so it was with great sadness that I left Airlock to further my experience with a contract at Purestone Ltd.

At Purestone I was brought in on a contract to get the company up and running with their new traffic and finance software, Synergist. I put in place the financial reporting to show individual job profitability, but my main project was to implement the traffic process for the company.

This was an exciting role that relied heavily on my prioritisation and organisation skills to ensure that not only the large revenue heavy projects were managed correctly, but that the smaller client needs were never put on the back burner. I was able to do this by being the main point of information between the Client Services team and the Production team. I ended my contact leaving Purestone able to run 100% more smoothly then they had been.

I am now looking for a permanent role where I can continue to grow.
