About me

I am an enthusiastic freelance graphic designer with 6 years commercial experience across all areas of design for print, covering projects including large scale branding, advertising, publishing, presentations, illustration and visualisation for web. I am currently looking for a new challenge in a team environment, within which I can further develop my skills and bring my ideas and experience to the role.

In my most recent agency position, I worked for 18 months as the sole graphic designer at the design agency Purplefish. In this post, I worked on large scale projects for clients including The Premier League, Apollo Resorts and Leisure, Manchester City Council and Ferrero. Most recently I solely produced the full branding, advertising, signage and web visualisation for the re-launch of Scarborough Open Air Theatre, a 6,500 seat music and theatre attraction which launched in July this year.

I have acquired advanced technical skills in InDesign, Quark XPress, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat with a good knowledge of Flash, Word and PowerPoint. I have also developed excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as on my own. For all of my roles, I have worked on all projects through from brief to print, dealing directly with clients on a daily basis.
