Hello recruitment,
I am writing in response to your position as a Junior Graphic Designer at RDP.
I feel that I would be a great asset to your team and the role as a Junior Graphic Designer.
Following my graduation in 2009 at the London College of Communication, I learnt a lot of practical skills such as screen-printing, letterpress printing, bookbinding and photography. I have a strong sense of design through hand drawn/digital illustration, Typography and layout. I am confident in using various computer-graphics programs such as:
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Flash
Adobe After Effects
Dreamweaver
During my 4-year course at the London College of Communication I undertook a year out to apply to various design internships, ranging from animation, graphics and motion graphics.
I have also taken on freelance work in my free time; so working in new environments with live projects is not new to me. I can also confidently work in large groups as well as having the self-motivation in working by myself. I have worked on projects from start of the idea stage all the way to distribution so I am confident in working with tight deadlines and have worked very closely with the clients as well as a creative team.
