Application for Copywriting position
I am applying for this position, as I believe I have the skills, work ethic and positive attitude to thrive in this role. Not only do I have years of experience writing copy for a diverse range of companies, including a web design agency, I am also well travelled, well read and have experience in a plethora of workplace environments; including on building sites, in cafes, for universities and in retail. This diversity has, I believe, endowed me with wisdom and capability beyond my years.
Why else should you hire me
- I have an excellent grasp of both digital and social media practices; having produced social media campaigns on behalf of companies to increase their online presence and get their brand visible to the relevant audience/ target market.
- Working at The Vintage Scene, an online clothing company, I was able to build on my writing abilities through the creation of content for several of the company's social media platforms; including facebook, twitter, tumblr, ebay and ASOS marketplace; forecasting seasonal fashion trends and promoting future events and fairs to be held, by the company, on a national level.
- I write and edit city and travel reviews for BBM Live, a magazine with a wide circulation around Australia.
- Experience as a copywriter; creating engaging and informative copy on behalf of several companies. My aim was to write relevant, original and engaging content for the landing pages of several small companies throughout Britain. We wanted these landing pages to have quality content, be easily navigable and transparent for it's users.
