About me
I was part of, then soon became head of, a post production team in South Africa called RNP productions. My team was responsible for all the advertorials, TVC, BTS and training videos produced for online and TV mediums. Our clientele included numerous major fashion brands such as Glamour, Fochini, Elle, Spree, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Polo and Ackermans to name a few. We also dabbled in the odd wedding edit and medical procedure training edits. All in all, in my three years' experience in the field I was personally responsible for over a 150 hour of online content as well as many countless hours of TV TVC's. Furthermore, I was responsible for keeping all social media up to date as well as personally communicating effectively with clients both electronically and inter-personally.
All my edits are non-linear, graded and completed in Adobe premiere pro suit and DaVinci resolve. My track record of experience includes many other forms of editing such as interviews, green screens and croma keying. Here is an example of some of the work I have done for my client Stefan Blom
I performed edits for our client (Ackermans) I created all of their in house on screen advertorials, advertising there latest wares, prices and styles with a mixture of Photoshop and premier. All of the edits were shown throughout their stores on multiple sized screens and online as well as their training videos for new teams to show how to deal with clients and proper in store safety. Theses edits were shown across multiple media outlets and ran for all of summer 2017 demonstrating my ability to create content for multiple platforms.
Apart from my years of editing I also have many years of client relations. I am proficient in building successful business relationships and knowing how to represent myself and my company in its best light. With many of my clients I still hold positive relationships and communicate with to this day. I am an educated, well spoken, respectable man with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn, develop myself and my professional skills. I will always bring high moral and enthusiasm to the office and the only challenge I believe I might face is the small learning period adapting to possible differences in British modus operandi in your industry as compared to the South African counterpart. However, as I am an extremely fast learner I believe that this will not be a challenge for long.
