About me

Dear Reader,

I have been in the design / DTP / print (digital & offset) arena for the past 6 years. I am very proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and Quark and am also very familiar with the Office Suite.

I have a natural eye for design and creative streak and have designed work pieces in a wide range of styles from modern/contemporary to classic and elegant and love them all. I am also a fan of typographic layout and can mentally visualise design before anything has gone down. Also, I have been lucky enough to have traditional illustration as a natural talent, which helps to put down roughs or sketch-designs, as a result alleviates time spent on the computer 'testing' designs.

I am an enthusiastic, quality-driven individual in the work place with an eye for detail, and very easy to get along with, even when working under pressure! I adhere to a job and see it done properly till the end, otherwise I am not satisfied. I am multitasking experienced and can work to deadlines.

I look forward to using my experience and expertise to benefit a position, while also gaining more knowledge and growing with it, which I for one, want nothing more. I am confident that I would be an asset to your company.

I am also willing to come in for a few days during the week for no payment to get a heads-up on the workflows etc of the company and get a feel for the atmosphere that I would be potentially working in.
