About me

Last summer I graduated from the University of Portsmouth having achieved a BSc Honours Degree in Product Design and Innovation (2:1). I am currently seeking a junior role within a design related organisation and I believe that I have a lot to contribute.

A career in Design has been the decisive factor in all the educational and professional decisions I have ever made. Through Studying Product Design and Innovation I have learnt a great deal about product development from conception to commercial venture through hands on group and solo project work. I excelled throughout the course developing new skills in design encompassing illustration techniques, computer aided design, prototyping and strategic marketing along with a solid theoretical background in technology, manufacturing processes and business theory.

Throughout University I have been working for Kugel which is one of the countries top Design and Marketing Agencies with an ongoing project for their U.S. clients the Cotton Council. The work involved designing and constructing a large exhibition gallery for the twice yearly world textiles exhibition held in Paris. This has given me real experience in meeting client's specifications to deadlines in a team environment.
