Creativity

- Recently completed a degree in BA(Hons) Product Design, the course has introduced many creative concepts and ways of thinking into the way in which I work, including designing into lifestyles, task analysis and branding. I am passionate about designing into lifestyles and researching the market, as I believe these are key to creating successful products and creating something fresh for the consumer.

- In terms of creative response to how I have interpreted a given brief, as well as constructing briefs of my own, I have good conceptual skills and an understanding of how research can help forward these creative concepts.

- Well versed in 3D Studio Max, Solidworks and 2d packages such as Photoshop. I am currently learning InDesign and revisiting Illustrator also. I have some Flash MX experience.

- I am also a competent model maker and I feel this accompanied with a good understanding of materials and processes is important.

Professionalism

- I have undertaken external projects with Samsung Cameras and Imagination during my time at University. The work produced for Samsung was entered into the Chartered Society of Designers Student Awards 2007, where it was highly commended, and I received CSD..
