Basically, I help solve problems creatively.

As a senior consultant and copywriter with extensive international experience, I've helped launch dozens of new products, services, and events; rebrand old ones; and increase the sales of hundreds of others using a wide variety of traditional and digital techniques.

My core strengths are in advertising and communications, but recently I've expanded into consulting on digital customer experiences and content strategy. One of my major recent accomplishments was co-creating a seamless, company-wide customer experience vision for B&Q; pitching and helping to win a major multi-year consulting contract from them; conducting an extensive audit of all their store, call centre and online content; and finally writing the content strategy for what's currently the largest multi-channel retail transformational programme in Britain.

Additional experiences include authoring and editing every form field, process and error message in the MBNA/Bank of America Online Card Services website used by millions of customers in the UK and Ireland; extensive mobile application, website and promotional copywriting for Barclaycard; creating the online tone of voice for John Lewis; and writing the brand guidelines for NTL:Telewest Business (now Virgin Media Business).

In direct marketing, my recent European experience includes leading creative concepts and copywriting on hundreds of digital, print and integrated projects for American Express, IBM, BT, BP, British Gas, British Airways, Barclays Capital and the British government among others.
