About me

My name is Meral Ali and I until very recently I was an editor for CSC Media Group, and had been for over seven years.

In my career, I was responsible for putting together short form and long form content (on Premiere Pro and Final Cut 7) for CSC's music, movie and children's brands - working on trailers and promos, to interviews and festival highlight shows. Working myself up from Trainee Editor, I continued to broaden my knowledge of post-production, working from a brief or script, collaborating with channel managers to generate ideas, record and direct voice overs, and build very good relationships with voice over artists. My job also included sound mixing and designing, and as a result I have an ear for what works in a mix. I also have experience using motion graphics both bespoke and from brand templates, consulting with our in-house graphics department.
