About me

I am a highly motivated individual with five years' experience in social media and copywriting. After graduation with a 2:1 degree in English Language and Literature from Leeds University in 2015, I was employed at Only Exclusive Travel, a luxury tour operator, writing twice-weekly emails to the client base, posting regularly on the company's social media platforms. My proudest achievement within my role here was being the sole copywriter of Only Exclusive Travel's worldwide luxury collection brochure, comprising 101 resorts and roughly 28,000 words. Eventually, after nearly three years, I was ready for the opportunity to learn more and flourish in a new role, which led to my appointment as Content and Social Media Executive at Bott and Co, a personal injury and consumer law firm. Here, I have learned how to use various tools such as Sprout Social and Audiense, and have adapted my writing skills to reflect a more serious subject matter compared to my first graduate job.

In my spare time, I write restaurant reviews after visiting establishments around Manchester, which are then published on Design My Night Manchester's website. I was honoured to be selected by the company as one of their writers, and writing for fun is a skill that I have enjoyed honing.
