To Whom It May Concern,

The Marketing Executive position which was advertised on the Creativepool website is the role I would like to apply for. I believe my previous experiences makes me an ideal candidate for this role.

Formerly from Australia, I arrived in London November last year and begun working for Teletext Holidays in December as a Merchandiser. This is a temporary contract however I had significant input in the development of the new Teletexts website, which was launched in January.

Whilst working full-time at Bayer, I was studying my Master of Marketing at RMIT University. I have successfully completed a Bachelor of International Business at Swinburne University in 2007. My majors were International Business and Marketing and a minor in European Business.

As part of my previous role at Bayer, I enjoy the flexibility to apply my creative thinking to help resolve complexities with current processes. I have continually strived to meet the demands from the field staff when managing the distribution of promotional materials, this involved working within the marketing team on various projects as well as managing the relationship with external stakeholders. Daily task involved managing the Head of Marketing diary and booking flights and accommodation for the Marketing department. Strong attention to details was demanded on a regular basis when editing presentations and other external communications.On several occasions I have demonstrated my strong work ethic by providing sporadic support to both the Communications and Sales departments. Tasks range from event management, website development and various mail distributions.

My previous involvement at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, whilst working as a Campaign Coordinator, saw the high level of importance with working amongst a team environment in the marketing department. I was able to implement various marketing strategies for high profile projects and work to allocated budgets effectively. This became evident through a variety of communication methods and producing record results that continued to strengthen the organizations reputation.

I believe that my work experiences have not only allowed me to work in a team environment, but also enhance my understanding of the complexities involved in working with different departments within a large organization. I would like to offer my enthusiastic attitude and creative initiative to further enhance the Marketing Executive role.
