About me

I am writing in response to your advertisement for a Junior Photographer on creativepool.co.uk. I am 24 years old and graduated from Nottingham Trent University in July 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Photography.

From the age of 16 I have always had a passion for photography and for the past 15 months I have been working in a Family Portraiture Studio in Chesterfield as a Photographer. My role in the studio also includes working in sales and editing. Though the job has helped me gain experience as a photographer, I feel it is time to move onto something different.

I would describe myself as a creative, hard working, friendly person and I am always keen to learn new skills, as well as build upon the ones I already have. I feel your vacancy would be the perfect opportunity for me to do this.

As well as my current job as a Family Portraiture Photographer, I have also done some freelance work for a Nottingham based modeling agency, Model Students, whom I also model for. These have both helped me gain experience in being creative with posing and directing people, which i believe would be beneficial for this role.

I would have to give notice to my current employer but as I only work weekends, this may not be an issue with starting this position. I have a full driving license so transportation would not be an issue and I am looking to move back to the Nottingham area in the near future.
