To whom it may concern,

I am currently employed in the position of Head Supervisor of the Digital Film Department at SAE Institute London, an internationally recognised private college for Digital Film, Creative Media and Audio Engineering.

I am looking for a position as an edit assistant, technical assistant or VT operator to familiarise myself with editing and the editing process within the post production environment. I am a confident and creative Final Cut Pro operator but I am looking for the relevant experience necessary to take the next step to becoming an editor.

SAE provides practical training courses, as well as academic degree programmes.

A highly diverse role, I am responsible for the scheduling and maintenance of the colleges twelve FCP, five Avid Express Pro Suites and Green Screen studio. In addition to this my core duties include the upkeep and booking of Cameras, Lighting and Audio equipment as well as providing one on one software tutorials and hardware support for over 150 students.

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for editing. I am capable of working under my own initiative and show the organisational skills necessary to meet the tightest deadlines.
