About me

I attend the John Henry Newman School and have been a pupil here since 2012. In 2017, I joined the sixth form. The subjects I have chosen to study, is Art and Design and Double BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Applied Science. My biggest strengths are being able to meet deadlines, generating ideas and creating individual and unique works of Art. I consider myself to be a very independent learner, but someone who is able to give input into group discussions.

Despite the fact that I am quite an introverted person, I have been able to sing for the school in some assembly's and recital's. This has really added to my confidence and helped me to become a more receptive and responsive person. Art has also added to my confidence, especially as we have to create our own work starting from scratch. After the Art Exam, the work then will be showed in an exhibition at school. Parents and other members of the public will attend and this will give me a chance to explain the ideas behind my Art and the purpose.
