About me

My name is Megan Atkinson. I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in East Yorkshire, with a degree in graphic design and illustration from De Montfort university.

My style is vibrant, textural and decorative. Taking inspiration from my childhood, the people around me and nature. Especially my grandparents who brought out my creativity at a young age. As you see from my 'Baby,find' book- the setting is based around my Grandmas garden which I spent a lot of my childhood exploring. Also, the 'Grow to graze scheme' I created is inspired by memories of poding peas and growing my own vegetables with my grandparents.

I have a passion for children's book illustration and food illustration as well as packaging design.
