About me

I am writing in response to your advertisement for the role of Designer. My name is Meera Parmar, and I am a graduate from De Montfort University, Leicester, where I studied Interior Architecture and Spatial Design.

I am a confident and enthusiastic person. I have an articulate organising skill. I am a capable individual who works well as part of a team or on my own. This is demonstrated through my work and my approach to my degree at university.

During my three years of studying I picked up many skills, of which some include: being fully competent in understanding and being able to use Vector works and Adobe Photoshop CS2, and have incorporated them in many of my projects so far. I am also an able individual in using the basics of 3Ds Max, of which my knowledge is expanding as I am still learning.

I have also got a good knowledge of technique drawings, producing elevations, plans and sections, free-hand sketches, producing realistic visuals and high quality model making.

I have a great passion for design and welcome the opportunity to learn and apply my knowledge and skills through working with your company. Retail Interior Design is of particular interest to me, as it allows me to be quickly involved as part of a team. I enjoy challenges and also find problem-solving very satisfying. This opportunity will allow me to develop my existing skills in a highly commercial and technological environment.
