For the first time, Nespresso unveils their commitment to sustainability initiatives and their quest for excellence through the perfect coffee.

The revelation “The Dream of Life” by English philosopher and writer Alan Watts becomes a backdrop to tell the story of three people whose destinies intersect: a coffee producer and his family, an engineer and a customer who travels between a Nespresso boutique and her Parisian apartment. Their distinct but intertwining universes come together through seemingly separate endeavours which leads to the catharsis of savouring the perfect cup of Nespresso.

“The Quest” through aesthetics and music adopts a tone close to a documentary, minimalist and unassuming. The use of real people in authentic places captures a raw emotion that when coupled with the dynamic and aesthetics of each scene conveys the beauty and truth in their quest for sustainability and coffee excellence. What was once a dream, now becomes reality.
