About me

I have always been interested in Motion Picture and have wanted to be a Film

Director since I was little.

I have worked over the years to achieve my dream and will continue to build

my career. After getting my GCSEs at School and being told by teachers that I

am being "Over Ambitious" I went to Epping Forest College and got my A

levels in Film, Media and Photography.

After College, I progressed to University of Glamorgan where I got a Bachelors

of Honors Degree in Film, TV and Radio. While at University I also did some

small projects with Skillset Wales which gave me the chance to also do some

work experience with BBC Wales. My course allowed me to do all sorts of

things from Scriptwriting, Photography, Music, Studio work and Short Film

work amongst other skills. I found an enjoyment for Editing (many hated this

but I loved it) and continued to do this as my main skillset.

Since University I have done Freelance work from Wedding Photography to

Editing Music Videos. I also met Pete Meads and Rob Fry and the three of us

produced Harlow Television, a local internet TV channel. We interviewed local

people, went on haunted shoots and filmed local charities for a few years but

unfortunately we all had to put this aside for other work commitments.

I went on to have the BEST and MOST UNFORGETABLE experience of my

life. I worked on Cruise Ships as a Video Production Specialist. I got to travel

the world, live on a ship and stare at the stars in the middle of the sea. I got to

see Hubbard Glaciers ice break, visit the Pyramids of Egypt several times and

got to see Whales breaching in Alaska. All this while filming and making DVDs

for Guests to buy at the end of the cruise. I also got to film amazing dancers

and musicians, film people's weddings and parties and generally had an

amazing time onboard luxurious ships, Cunard's Queen Mary 2, Queen

Victoria and Celebrity Millennium.

I have also made with a crew of people I have meet over the years a short

horror film called Seen. This project I pushed myself in trying all the skills I

have learnt over the years. I teamed up with Gerald Tomkinson the Director

and where the original idea came from. We wrote the script together, Directed

and Produced it together (Co-Producer and Assistant Director). I production

managed on; and off set, made props and did some makeup when the makeup

artists were not available. I also was an Assistant Camera Operator but my

main role was as Editor. I edited the whole thing on Adobe Premier and used

After Effects. I turned day to night, created demon eyes, created suspense with

sound and graded it all on my own personal Macbook Pro with my Adobe

Cloud Suite at home in my spare time.

I'm looking forward to my next step in my career
