About me

My name is Maya Manwaring and I am looking for an entry level job in an exciting creative agency. Having previously worked as a production assistant and then a production manager at Salt Pictures Ltd, I believe that my wealth of technical knowledge makes me the ideal candidate for any production related role. My work ethic and creativity allowed me to excel at my former job as I left the company in a far more senior role than when I started. Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (2.1) in Cinema and Photography. Since graduating I have gained a wealth of experience in the advertising industry through supporting a team of Producers and Directors from pre to post-production stages. During my time at Salt I directed and managed projects. In addition, I was able to gain experience in dealing with clients and managing their expectations whilst also implementing their demands and changes in post-production. I have also gained work experience at the advertising agency Leo Burnett, where I shadowed the Executive creative director on various worldwide shoots for the Max factor account.

I feel that I have a lot to offer in the way of support as I am highly organised, practical and am good at thinking on my feet. I am looking for a job in a creative agency where I can not only apply my existing skills to support the team but also somewhere I can continue to learn and find a niche for myself.
