About me

I am very interested in the junior graphic design position advertised and believe that i may hold the qualities and skills required by your company to work/fit in with your already existing team. My CV is attatched for your review. i live and breath design. Given my related experience in graphic design and art I believe this position sounds perfect for me.

I believe my skills are an ideal match for this position. Not only do i possess a broad knowledge of design but i am currently finishing my second year of a course in interactive media at bournemouth university and boast a range of skills including animation(flash), some web design and game design whilst being skilled in photoshop, flash, illustrator and indesign.

my reasoning for choosing such a course it that my passion in life is my art. for the last 3 years my work has been mostly digitally based which lead me to believe that an interactive media course would allow to branch my art into other creative mediums such as animation, web and game design.

Despite this i wish to enter gainful employment and postpone my last year of education in order to seek out opportunities which will help my talents flourish. i have learnt my trade and now wish to put it to use. my predominant skill set is in design, with over 7 years of commission based and freelance work in magazine, album art, clothing, original art and logo design forming a strong and broad portfolio and knowledge of the industry and working from grass roots ideas all the way to post production analysis. The fact that this work has all been off my own back and a large amount of the time unpaid/voluntary shows that i am passionate and determined. i have also had experience creating documents, magazines and informational broshures for my college "south london sixth" as well as a number of indepentdant companies and businesses.

i believe it is the freelance elements of my work which allow to work confidently and competently alongside a team under instruction. i have also recently learnt about ready for print graphic design and creating fashion and print work for a specific target audience. (currently upmarket urban fashion wear).I am flexible with hours and more than happy to travel for work.
