About me
In the last 6 months I have published 3 apps on the Apple app store - Please search 'Dayward', 'Usurp Records' and 'Mark Day'. I am looking for a permanent role as an iOS Developer or UI/UX Design, however I am still working in print and publishing design.
I have been a print designer for 15 years, working mainly for magazines and newspaper supplements such as 'Sunday' the European supplement for the Sunday Telegraph and also four years spent as an art editor for Guitarist magazine, notably art directing unique studio photography for the review guitars featured.
Since the shrinking or decline perhaps of the world of print in these mediums, a move into iPhone and iPad app design has been the logical next step. Combining creative experience in animation, photography, typography, video editing, audio, music, logo design, image research. I have acquired Xcode and Objective C skills in the last 2 years. Also I have studied UI Interaction design, Interface design and app marketing.
