About me

Hi, my name is Matt Pollard and I don't like being put into a box but, if you want to describe me, I'm a Creative Developer from Surrey in the UK with 14 years of experience who is now making their journey as a freelancer after over a decade and a half of being in full-time employment.

I've a background as both a Front-End Developer and as a Digital Designer, with core skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop and Illustrator. Of course, I can say I'm creative and skilled but the only way for me to really prove it is for you to hire me! But what I *can* say is I'm experienced, versatile and able to deliver whatever is put in front of me, and still have a passion to keep learning new skills and adding to my repetoire.

Outside of the web, I wear my passions on my sleeve - I'm a Big, Friendly, Geek who loves wrestling, movies, books, music - I've been a Rock DJ for 15 years - and am a passionate cook and baker. I even run a food blog called If You Smell What is Cooking!
