Hello there!

I hope that this finds you well after a pleasant Christmas and New Year. It's that time of year when we all stop to consider our direction in life, and this has resulted in me sending you this application for the Copywriter position. I come from a background of copywriting, project management and content management. Of these fields, it has always been copywriting which I've excelled in (have a look at some of my LinkedIn recommendations/testimonials and you'll see what I mean), so the responsibilities listed in the advert match very closely with the direction I'm looking to take with my career. Indeed, one of the aspects of the job advert I found most pleasing was that it listed lots of responsibilities which I already undertake in my current job, but with a focus very well suited to my interests.

On a personal note, the advert also mentioned that you in-house copy team is growing - I can't overstate how important this is to me. In my experience, there's a tremendous sense of enthusiasm and excitement in a creative team which is still expanding and moving towards new horizons. It can really make all the difference in the workplace, and for me that difference meant I had to get in touch.
