About me

I'm a freelance illustrator, graphic artist, and textile designer based in Melbourne, Australia. I work with my clients to create a vision, design, meet deadlines, and manage production. With over 25 years of in-house and freelance design experience, I have collaborated on and led numerous successful designs for a diverse range of domestic and international clients in education, fashion, and business. I am an artist and printmaker in addition to my design work. My artwork is in private collections in Australia and around the world.

I enjoy working with a variety of mediums, ranging from painterly approaches to flat vector designs. I'm really versatile, and I can move easily from a few different styles. I've created art and illustrations for books, textiles, clothes, brochures, signage, websites, advertising, and product packaging over the years. To give my images a hand-drawn and painted quality, I sometimes work by hand as well as using digital tools. My goal is to make images that are expressive, timeless, colourful, and unique, and that not only entertain while simultaneously communicating a visual story.

Aside from art and design, I also write and record music and play the bass guitar. Going for bush walks, getting lost in unfamiliar places, swimming, listening to podcasts, and coastal road trips are some of my favourite ways to unwind.
