About me

I enjoy using Microsoft Publisher 2010 Beta to design greetings cards for family and friends. I feel I have a flair for being creative but always ensuring that I do not let the software features control or impair the outcome of the product.

I have completed a 4-year course in Computer Information Systems where I used my creative skills to design web applications and professional presentations for a variety of topics.

During my degree course and industrial placements year, I have developed a range of transferable and employable skills. These include attention to detail, time management, working independently and also how to work successfully within a group.

From the variety of experiences I have gained, both within employment and volunteering opportunities, I feel that I have the right personality for a role in the media and publishing industry, the technical aptitude needed to learn and use the complex software required, and the ability to adapt to a new working environment!
