About me

I first became interested in product design when studying at Glyn Technology School. My passion for design and academic ability were reflected in my GCSE and A level results and Design Diploma having followed a Foundation course at Surrey Art College. I have a high level of drawing and rendering skills, in addition to a working knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques. My four years at Bournemouth University, School of Engineering and Computing has further developed my technical and mathematical knowledge, so that I feel confident in being able to design and develop commercial products. This has been shown with my 'Product Design Award' for designer of the year and my selection to represent the University at New Designers show in London.

As a team player, I enjoy working within a team and the responsibility that this brings to the dynamics of the group. My time at school as senior prefect, my rugby career both for school and county and my year in industry at General Electric has meant that I have valuable experience in team work, sharing the same vision of working towards a common goal. I enjoy taking added responsibility, and am both flexible and meticulous in my work, which I consider essential attributes needed in today's market place.

I now wish to further develop my career and would relish the opportunity to work for your company. Please find attached my C.V. for your consideration.
