About me...

I have completed a 3 year Ba with Honours course in Product Design at Sheffield Hallam University. I am now seeking employment in the design industry.
Over the last 3 years of university I have developed an extensive knowledge of different application software enabling me to present design ideas in many different formats. These programs include:-

Photoshop CS5, Rhinoceros 3D 4.0, Macromedia Fireworks, Flamingo Rendering software, Corel Draw X4, AutoCAD 2D and PhotoView 360. I have a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2007 suite in order to present and report on design projects. During this time I have produced work for Blue Chip company, Gillette and DesignFutures.

I have always had the ability to visualise objects in a 3 dimensional way, attention to detail being an important aspect of all my designs. As well as computer based design work I enjoy model making and testing ideas and concepts. I have a keen interest and knowledge of mechanical engineering gained throught my hobby of car restoration and motorsport, getting stuck in and getting my hands dirty!

I am self motivated and approach new challenges with enthusiasm who enjoys all aspects of design. I strive to achive the highest possible level and always look to improve in all areas. I thrive in team environments where ideas can be bounced around, equally I work effectivly alone.

Ever since childhood i have wanted to work in an exciting, hands on design environment, helping to influence future products that excite others aswel as myself.
