About me

Hi,

I am a 27 year old video production professional, specialising in promotional, education and training films. I have a wide range of experience in all areas of film and television production including the management of a video production company within the West Midlands.

For the past five years I have created and managed a video production company focused on producing high quality short films, music videos, documentaries and TV programmes. I have also trained adults and young people in film production and film editing as well as advising companies on how to utilise video production within their organisation. I have good experience in using a wide range of software and equipment including After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Studio, Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

I am a highly skilled camera operator, having experience in a wide range of cameras from DSLR to Sony PMW F3 and solid state digital recorders such as PIX 240. I am also able to operate field sound recording and lighting.

I am best described as being an enthusiastic 'all rounder' A one man production utility. I have a host of skills at my disposal and I am keen to demonstrate these skills and be given an opportunity to develop as a video production professional.

Sector Experience

I have gained the majority of my experience working on short films and promotional films across the country. I have been involved in a number of short films that have been entered into prestigous film festivals including Edinburgh and Cannes. , I have also had technical experience as a camera assitant for the BBC Production unit and I have also had post production experience at BBC Mailbox Birmingham as an editing assistant. , My work has often required working alongside major broadcasters and utility houses to produce high quality audio and visual products to an international market.
