About me
Having worked within media for over four years as a freelance, I am now seeking a permanent role in media production, where my skills and aptitudes will be used in a wider domain and on a full-time basis. My ultimate goal is to be a film-maker but I thrive in every step of the production process - from initial concept of ideas to sign-off, I have had experience in all areas and successfully produce my own videos.
Working as a freelance and for various small production companies has enabled me to gain wide knowledge of the media business, equipping me to understand every one of the processes involved in film-making, and appreciate the value of each stage. The most successful and satisfying role in which I am well practiced is editing. I have become an expert as the lead editor on multiple projects over the years; be it event highlights, multi-camera edits, show reels, customer testimonies, I have a talent for delivering quality and exciting products on-time, every time.
Another trade I am accomplished in is camera operation, with expertise on various cameras and lenses, and deep familiarity with all types of industry-standard lighting and sound equipment. Clients I have worked for include Adobe, Samsung, Miele, Essilor, Careys, Lucas, and many more.
The annual Adobe Summit conference has always been one of the highlights of my role. It is an intense 2-day event where the team shoots, edits, livestreams and liaises with the other agencies within the Excel Centre in London. It's hectic but I revel in the pace and challenge. More recently, I was involved in an overseas event for a significant device manufacturer, where I worked flexibly to edit and deliver a highlights video to an exacting deadline.
I have a broad experience in quick turnarounds and high quality video deliveries and am adept at multi-tasking and working on different projects at any one time; re-touching and finalising to the client's satisfaction. I collaborate well with both clients and colleagues across departments. I have a great sense of humour, am self-motivated, creative, have a "good eye" and enjoy investigating new ways to create short stories. You won't be disappointed in my capabilities.
