About me
Freelance video editor who predominantly use premiere pro, however has experience using final cut pro and very adaptable working with new software, with ambition to explore new challenges and improve my ability and advance in the creative sector of editing.
My professional experience had stemmed from my apprenticeship that I earned over many applicants at EMI Music where I was an audio visual apprentice working in the creative department of the company creating, editing and filming, mostly on DSLR cameras, music content for the companies music labels for their signed artists to promote their albums singles etc. The vastly improved my knowledge from tape capturing, editing, archiving footage and working with new technologies which led me to other ranges of jobs role in production, production assistant on FestEvil short film and Data Wrangler on a BBC observational documentary, school for stars, which spurred on my confidence and independence in my career goals. Now I freelance for websites filming on my own camera equipment and editing software being their main source of creative video content for their sites to build them up and feed audience traffic towards them. As of now I want to push myself to a more busier work environment that will test and challenge me further and take more control of content.
I'm free to contact through the weekday and weekend and will be looking forward to hearing from you and excited to see what opportunities can be offered to me.
Sincerely
Matt Boardman
