About me

My name is Martin Burton and I am a 3D designer, specialising in product and exhibition design.

In the last 10 years, I have designed so many different things, within completely different industries, learning and executing different skills, touching on structural, mechanical and electrical engineering plus a heavy influence of architectural design.

During a design phase, I can spend almost as much time on the work shop floor, experimenting with new techniques than I do sat behind my desk as I'm equally comfortable with a screwdriver in my hand as I am a computer mouse.

That said, a lot of modern design does happen on a computer, and hopefully you'll see from my attached work, that I possess great technical ability in producing drawings that are precision perfect in both 2D AutoCAD and 3D using AutoCAD but mainly 3DS Max.

When a component forms part of a structural element of a design, I am familiar with both Solidworks and Inventor to carry out both FMEA and FEA simulations.
