About me

I recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University. I attained a First Class (Hons) in Ba Product Design as well as winning the Best Project prize and I am currently working as a freelance designer at The Walt Disney Company in London.

After the second year at university, I completed a 12-month work placement at The Walt Disney Company in Hammersmith as part of my sandwich degree where I worked as a member of a creative team on design projects. During this time, my skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign excelled and I also possess skills in Solidworks and 3D Studio Max.

Although Disney is a corporate company, I worked within a small team, and found it very enjoyable working with creative, talented, like-minded people. I feel that this is a type of environment enabling me to progress as a designer as well as be an influential member of the team. As much as I am a team player, I can also work well on my own, which is reflected within my university projects as well as my freelance work.

Through my placement and freelance career at Disney, I learned about the design industry through a large company perspective as well as corporate company guidelines and branding guidelines.

I am passionate in everything I do and in all aspects of design. I am an all round designer, taking a keen interest in fashion, graphics and products. I am keen to learn new skills and pitch in wherever is needed. I have a strong eye for detail and a have a perfectionist as well as an organised attitude to my work.
