About me

I have recently graduated from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication with a BA Hons in Fashion Design, speciallising in Menswear. My latest collection was showcased at Graduate Fashion Week. I have worked hard during my time at Ravensbourne, gaining many skills in various aspects of fashion. For example I have a strong knowledge of Design and construction, and I also have the skills to print and dye using diverse techniques achieving varying outcomes in colour and texture. Fabric manipulation was a major part of my graduate collection, transforming materials into new structures. Another skill of mine is pattern cutting, I have a strong knowledge of this and am able to relate and understand complex designs, turning them into presise patterns. Working for Aimee McWilliams gave me experience of working within a small business, whilst working at Topman Design gave me experience in management, as I ran the pattern room for a time. This showed me how self organisation and planning is vital. I am also accomplished in the entire Creative Suite. During my time at Ravensbourne I was constantly using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for all of my projects. For example I would use Illustrator for flats, Photoshop to edit photoshoots and InDesign for laying out journals.
