About me
Martin worked in retail for 16 years... and then, aged 31, made three New Year's Resolutions.
To learn to drive, learn a martial art, and go to university as a mature student.
He completed all three that year.
Following university, Martin decided he would become a creative/copywriter in the advertising industry,
and completed two post graduate diplomas in Advertising, Copywriting and Art Direction - the second being the industry-famous 'Watford Course' under industry-legend Tony Cullingham.
Fifteen years later, he has worked at many of the world's top advertising agencies, creating advertising campaigns for everyone from Haribo to Amazon, and has won several industry awards along the way.
He writes and performs stand-up comedy (for which he's recently won an award) and poetry.
He paints, and has exhibited his work at an art exhibition.
He has written a novel and is currently looking for a publisher.
And he is a 4th Kyu at Kyokushin Karate, which has included winning a bronze medal for England.
