About me
Since 2007 I am working mostly on film as an editor and documentary director, but also as a videographer/motion graphic designer of cooperative and commercial videos. Throughout the years all aspects of filmmaking - from pre-production (scriptwriting and creating storyboard), production (recording video and sound, organising shootings, lighting, getting locations etc.) to post-production (video and sound editing, colour grading, motion graphics, animations and special effects, creating typography, music editing, etc.) and promotion (graphic design of film posters/invitations, digital distribution, applying films to festivals, writing financial reports...) became part of my life.
I have very good command of video editing software such as FCP 7. FCP X and Adobe Premiere as well as the various media converting programmes, good command of creating motion graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects), and Motion5, but the most importantly strong will to constantly learn and update my knowledge with new skills and software.
Creatively interpreting client's ideas, from design to concept and final output, ensuring client satisfaction and retention was part of my daily work while working on private TV in Croatia, as well as while being part of creative team at Filmaktiv, Croatian NGO/ film media production house where I directed/produced various promotional content for National campaigns, film and book trailers, promotive materials for National theatre and independent dance artist, film festivals tv commercials...
I am very interested in developing my career as a video editor, motion graphic designer, and animator. Abilities to combine my knowledge and experience of various professions into every new
project, my experience and insight on film and television production, are my strong points.
