About me

I'm a British-born, UK-based, award winning, creative marketing professional and with vast knowledge and experience of traditional, experiential, digital and mobile communications strategies and tactics. And 20+years in eCommerce/eBusiness solutions/eBusiness Transformation and eCRM.
I have run small, medium and large creative and content / video production teams as well as digital companies and even start-ups.

I have huge knowledge of HoReca, travel, automotive, luxury marketing, and fintech as well as telcos and retail and have been lucky enough to have worked on almost everything from fast food to fast cars, managing the strategy, creative and production processes for a plethora of unique marketing initiatives from London to Shanghai.
On the digital front I lead the strategy, scope, design, build, communication and content initiatives, as well as ongoing business transformation advice, to launch and sustain some of Asia's largest and most complex digital entities including , and to mention just a few.

I oversaw the launch of the multi-award-winning .com, which became a large content driven behemoth of some 5,500 pages in 9 languages, and with 35 full-time content marketing staff.
I've also been involved with the creation and production of more than 800 videos/TVCs in the past 12 years or so and have some quite considerable experience of creating and producing small, medium and large events for the likes of Abbot Healthcare, B&H, Dunhill, Ferrero Roche, Harry Ramsden's, Heineken, HSBC, Kent, Nike, San Miguel and W Hotels.

And, in the past 15+years I've become exceptionally well versed in the art of social media and content marketing, which is increasingly a part of my daily client ritual as more seek to address this actually quite time-consuming art and which I now teach part-time to mature students looking for a career change, as well as the eCommerce and marketing teams at companies like Colgate and Coke.

I continue to consult on marketing strategy and creative solutions issues and integrated marketing and digital communications and offer training workshops in branding and digital branding and marketing, as well as prepare companies for their digital futures which seem to be more akin now to business change-management than marketing as such.

I have significant experience of providing effective leadership, advice and solutions to internal and external customers, particularly about digital and transformational change - which I've been doing for 20+ years now. I have always been a confident communicator who can work effectively with a wide range of professionals on diverse projects including project support staff, business analysts, project managers, finance staff, suppliers, and, if required, subject matter experts.

With extensive experience of project, content and program delivery in large and complex organisations - and spring to mind, my ability to identify and develop innovative solutions, and make powerful arguments for change are exactly what I am about and, now, more than ever before, this stance for change will stand all of us in good stead for our digital futures.

I'm used to working at pace, as Asia seems to continue to work this way.

After a successful, exciting, enjoyable and digitally-driven stint in Asia, I've been back in the a while and I'm now looking for my next post- Covid, career challenges, as well as looking forward to working with a group of like-minded, ambitious people who are prepared to nurture, encourage, grow and prosper together in order to succeed in the digital economy.
