About me

I'm a portrait photographer with decades of snapping the great, the good (and the plain odd). This has given me a body of work of some of the most important and influential individuals you could ever meet. From Tony Blair and Al Gore to Benedict Cumberbatch and Pavarotti, no two days are ever the same. I can sometimes be found shooting in corners of hotel rooms, ceilings of studios or attached to the side of an aeroplane. Oh, and I was there to photograph Prince Andrew for the infamous Newsnight/BBC interview in Buckingham Palace..

My clients have ranged from Avalon to Burberry, Stylist Magazine and the ITV.& Sky. I've shot people for editorial, TV shows, advertising and corporate annual reports. I've been shouted at, had people laugh (and cry) and occasionally squeeze me (if the screen is on the right frame).

Several of my images are now held at the National Portrait Gallery, whilst three more are winners of the Portrait of Britain competitions in 2016 through to 2021. I also picked up several wins at the Creative Pool Annual 2019 and 2021 + 2022 to cap it all.
Also I'm the Gold Winner of the AOP Black Culture in Britain award 2021 (+ Open Awards finalist.)
For 2022: Royal Photographic Society IPE 164+ British Photography Awards - both Shortlisted.
