About me

I started my career in advertising in Manchester. After a couple of years, I moved somewhere with even more rainfall - Hamburg, where I wrote my first ads, got my first experience of life in Cannes and learnt about the offside rule.

I moved back to London to work at Leagas Delaney. Three years and 47 ads later, I moved to Partners BDDH where I was a group head on the Guardian, Mercedes and TFL accounts.

From 2001 to 2003 I spent a couple of years travelling and freelancing at agencies including Ogilvy, McCanns, DLKW and HHCL and partners.

In 2003 I was made Head of Art at HHCL. I was responsible for all the agency's print work, as well as working across a couple of high profile accounts. I also worked on pitch wins for Sky+ and Godiva.

In 2005 I went to Wunderman, where I tried something out of my comfort zone, and got on a couple of Cannes shortlists for my troubles.
