About me

My name is Mark Wong, I am a character animator with 5 years experience working on Direct to DVD projects, TV Animation, and Feature Films.

My Specialty is Key Frame animation, but recently I have been in jobs that required an understanding of Body Mo-Cap. Through my career, I have used Maya and XSI as an animation tool.

I started my career at Imagi Studios in Hong Kong, working on the Father of the Pride; Television Series for Dreamworks Animation. I further developed my skills on the feature film; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; for Weinsteins/Warner Bros. During this time, I have practiced film quality of acting and animation.

I chose to relocate to Vancouver and started working with Rainmaker Animation. During this time i was on many Direct-To-DVD projects which introduced me to the process of Mo-Cap Animation. These projects also furthered my skill set in that I was required to Complete setups and Camera Adjustments. I eventually moved into the Feature Department here at Rainmaker. This job required full Key Frame animation in a timely manner.

I'm a easy going person and fast learner with experience adapting to different directors. I am always eager to offer my input and ideas if it will be beneficial for the project. Sony Animation is where I could perform my skills and knowledge, and I look forward to hearing from you.
