About me

I believe that people are capable of building incredible things when they have the support they need and understand that the products they design and build are not the actual products they sell but rather the individual, social and cultural experience that they engender and the value and impact that they have. Every great vision is achieved one step at a time.

In 2015 Mark co-founded hospitality software IreckonU with Ireckon CEO Jan Jaap van Roon. He joined Ireckon in late 2013, bringing with him a track record spanning experience of both the business world but through his technical background, an understanding of major IT projects and operations. Mark began his ICT career in 1996 working at KPN, before moving to Microsoft in 2000, where he held a wide range of roles, culminating in several years' as Microsoft's Emerging Business lead in the Netherlands. This gave Mark the opportunity to work closely with many of the regions leading start-ups, investors and entrepreneurs.
