About me

For the last two years I have been working for a leading photography studio in Walsall running the Digital department as the Senior Digital Artist/Retoucher I have used Photoshop for 7 years as a graphic designer prior to my two years working as a digital retoucher. Apart from retouching my responsibilities extend to training photographers and other staff in the use of retouching. Providing retouching targets and overseeing the retouching workflow, dealing with and sending images to print. Servicing and maintaining all PC software and hardware including the networks and the running of the server. The design and implemention of any new marketing material such as DVDroms, updating websites, company brochure design, advertising, slide show production and presentation and exhibition design. I have an eye for detail and the patience to match, I enjoy retouching and am passionate about the work I do. I am a team player, my current role requires that I deal with departments effectively this includes striking healthy relationships with printers, software and hardware specialists and suppliers. I enjoy using my initiative; as such I am always looking at ways of improving the way in which I and the people around me work.
