About me

I am qualified in Illustration and Animation and have been working in design and print for the past 11 years. Although I am not actively seeking employment this role jumped out as an ideal opportunity for me to bring my skill set and vocation to a new environment in the automotive industry.

Currently I am working as a Vehicle Signage Graphic Designer at a waste tanker factory in Solihull. This role is varied and has offered me an insight into all areas of the manufacturing process. My main responsibility is to produce the safety labels, control panels on both laser CNC and rotary CNC machines and livery for each tanker. This involves tracking the process of each vehicle, studying each specification, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum and water circuit and liaising with the relevant departments. In some instances coordinating external sign writers dependant on customer requirements.
As well as this I manage the transport of completed tankers, take and administer the finished images, offer general site design, branding and signage and work as supervisory cover for the PDI section. Most recently I have developed a new set of digital control displays for our new range of electric tankers.

My previous experience is largely in retail print and design, working in a customer facing role to varied briefs.

I am proficient in Adobe CC and Microsoft Office as well as various printer, laser CNC and Rotary engraving software. I am comfortable working independently and as part of a team and thrive in a busy environment.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening (indoor and outdoor), working on my Trabant, and we are lifetime members of the National Trust.
