I am writing to apply for the role of Motion Graphic Designer as advertised by yourselves on the CreativePool website

I believe I would be an excellent candidate for this role.

Currently I am working as a motion/ Interactive designer at a large agency in London, where I have been for almost 3 years and am looking for a fresh challenge and new environment.

I have a great deal of experience as an in-house designer at marketing & advertising companies, and plenty of freelance experience in broadcast and vfx agencies in and around London.

Much of the work I currently do in-house involves interface builds, animations and mockups, presentation graphics and product demos. I achieve these through a combination of 2d & 3d solutions involving Industry standard software such as the Adobe CS5 suite, 3d software such as Cinema 4d & Lightwave, brought together in editing with audio in FinalCut or Premiere.

I am very strong in video production and cover core skills such as tracking (2d & 3d) keying, compositing, rotoscoping, 3D CGI (modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering and animating). I do storyboarding and concept generation/ research and can take projects from concept to completion.

I have worked on broadcast and video projects for ITV, Partizan films, Pulse Films, Microsoft, Nissan, Tchibo and music videos for bands such as Mark Ronson, The Tempertrap, Zarif, Pendulum, Maroon 5 and the Kaiser Chiefs.

Current interactive & corporate motion work includes for clients such as Lexus, Microsoft & MS Windows Mobile, and Rough Guides.
