About me

I have worked in the Print/Design industry since I did my Apprenticeship at Waterlows in Dunstable in 1980, I qualified as a Typesetter and worked on publications such as the TVTimes magazine, Country Life, Banking World and also Amateur Photographer. I have used QuarkXpress since it was introduced for the above publications and also Report & Accounts for Abbey National and various other big companies. With the introduction of new technology and programs, I have used QuarkXpress up to Quark 6 and also used Indesign, which I feel is alot more user friendly and you can create alot more interesting designs using it. I have a good working knowlege of Photoshop and Illustrator. However, I have been working for Archant Herts/Cambs for the last two years and because of copyright laws I am not allowed to upload work from the newspapers. I do however have a portfolio on Coroflot to show what I am capable of doing and what publications I have been working on lately. The link is on my CV.
